It is excellent as an eating apple, with its crisp creamy white flesh its sweet, tasty and juicy. This variety is especially suitable for cooking especially in pies, tarts and caramelised in cakes and muffins.Golden Delicious originated in 1912 in West Virginia, USA. Season: January to December.
