Pink Lady. Pink Lady has a pink blush over a greenish yellow base skin. It is a crisp apple with a dense, firm flesh and an excellent, almost effervescent flavour. Pink lady has a high sugar content making it perfect for cooking. Pink Lady originated in 1979 in Western Australia, and is a cross between a Lady Williams and a Golden Delicious. Season: April to November.
